Community Missions

By the grace of the Lord, this mission came about when we were made aware of the food shortage facing the youth of our community. One in every 4 students is missing one in 5 meals each week.

 

What began as a trial project here at St Andrew's on February 16, 2024 with 58 students is now a weekly free lunch program every Friday while school is in session. The students of LCCVI are offered a meal of hotdogs, chips and a beverage all free of charge in a safe and non-judgmental environment.

 

We are now feeding an average of 250 students each week. It is a lively and engaging half hour filled with fun, joy and smiles. Hotdog day could not continue without the blessings of the Lord Jesus Christ and the support of this amazing community.
